Job Description

  • Hospital beds - 672
  • Annual Encounters: 57K
  • Daily Census: 160-230
  • 7 on 7 off
    • Days: 7am ? 7pm (12 physicians & 4 APPs)
    • Swing: 3pm ? 11pm (1 physician)
    • Nights: 7pm ? 7am (2 physicians & 2 APPs)
  • Open ICU w/intensivist back up (HM does the medical management)
  • Procedures are not required
  • ED primarily handles codes, but Hospitalist is expected to help if
    available

  • Collegial collaboration with ED also managed by SCP ?
    • ED primarily handles codes, but Hospitalist is expected to
      help if available
  • EMR: EPIC


Physician Openings:

Full-Time Day Shift (7am ? 7pm)

Full-Time Swing Shift (3pm ? 11pm)

Mount Sinai Medical Center is an award-winning hospital and it is the largest private independent not-for-profit teaching hospital in South Florida.
