  • ED Beds: 24 Beds

  • EMR: Meditech

  • 24 hour Single Physician Coverage

  • 7a-7p, 7p-7a (12 hour shifts)

  • APP Coverage- 12p-10p (10 hour shifts)


Physician Requirements

  • BE/BC EM, FM, IM

  • Accepts Moonlighting Residents

  • Requirement: ATLS/ACLS/PALS/ NIHSS



NPPA Requirements

  • Pa, FNP or ACNP + ENP or FNP

  • ATLS/ACLS/PALS/ NIHSS and DEA-
    (if applicable)

Facility Information

Beckley ARH Hospital is a 173-bed hospital and the second-largest provider in Raleigh County. Beckley ARH is a not-for-profit, acute-care facility (including 60 psychiatric beds) with a level IV Trauma Center Emergency Room. Key services include: behavioral health, emergency care, heart care, orthopedic, rehabilitation therapy, sleep lab, and wound care.

The largest town in southern West Virginia, Beckley has transformed from a rural area into a pleasant suburb primarily due to its growing business district. National parks nearby offer plenty of skiing, hiking, fishing, camping and more. Beckley is over an hour southeast of Charleston, West Virginia and about 2 hours northwest of Roanoke, Virginia.
