  • 24K annual ED volume
  • 14-bed freestanding ED
  • 24 hour?physician coverage
  • NP/PA coverage 1p-11p, 7 days a week
  • 12 hour Scribe Coverage
  • EMR: Cerner

Facility Information

STHS ER at Weslaco is a South Texas Health System facility with the most up to date technology to offer quality healthcare. The ER is staffed with healthcare experts and has the same diagnostic technology available at any South Texas Health System hospital. The facility features 14 private treatment rooms, diagnostic imaging services, 24-hour lab services, on-site pharmacy, respiratory treatments and more.

Weslaco is a medium-sized city in Hidalgo County, located at the southern tip of the state of Texas in the Rio Grande Valley, approximately 59 miles west of South Padre Island and the Gulf of Mexico.
