Job Description

  • New hospital leadership investing in improving physician and patient experiences
  • Change in hospitalist coverage with dedicated rounding and admitting shifts to maximize efficiency and work-life balance
  • Level 1 Trauma Center, 590 beds
  • 7 on; 7off scheduling for full-time
  • Scheduling Model:
    • Rounding Shift 7a-7p: 5 Physicians, 3NPPAs
    • Admitter Shift 7a-7p: 1 Physician, 1 NPPA
    • Night Shift 7p-7a: 1 Physician, 1 NPPA
  • Open ICU with Intensivist on site 24/7
  • SCP also manages the Critical Care Program
  • No procedures required
  • Providers respond to rapid responses with Intensivist backup available 24/7
  • Full-time physicians and NPPAs are employed with benefits
  • Competitive stipend for Medical Director and Lead NPPA, as well as additional training and growth opportunities
  • Paid malpractice with unlimited tail coverage
  • EMR: Meditech

Qualifications:

  • Physicians must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Medical Director Candidates must have:
    • A minimum of one year of Medical Leadership experience
    • Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting
    • Strong clinical and communication skills
    • Experience in quality improvement and performance management
    • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
    • Passion for patient care and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • AGACNP certification required for NPs
  • NPs and PAs must have at least 1 year of HM experience
  • Lead NPPA candidates must have at least 1 year of leadership experience
