Emergency and hospital medicine management companies Schumacher Clinical Partners (SCP) and ECI Healthcare Partners, Inc. (ECI) have announced they are merging, effective by the end of Q2 2016, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
Combining their networks will allow for an expansion of resources, a further growth of service offerings, and the utilization of industry leading best practices. Additionally, their unique model of clinical leadership in the field helps deepen our physician-led culture,” said Rich D’Amaro, chief executive officer, SCP. “We are eager to join together and advance our mutual missions of providing the highest quality care for patients,” he added.
Dr. Derik King, President of ECI Healthcare Partners, stated, “Being physician-led and patient-focused for the last 44 years, the creation of this new company gives us the opportunity to advance the service and value we bring clients and patients in today’s competitive healthcare environment.”
