Schumacher Group (SG)’s Revenue Cycle Services (RCS) team was recognized at last week’s GE Centricity conference in Orlando as the 2015 Gold Productivity Award winner for accomplishments and achievements in revenue cycle management.
“This award reflects SG’s revenue team’s high standards for healthcare claims processing,” stated Keith Cantrell, Chief Revenue Officer for Schumacher Group. “Not only does it speak to the dedication of our team to improving performance while realizing significant cost savings, but it is a shining example of the organization’s commitment to providing world-class service.”
The GE Centricity Productivity Awards recognize GE Healthcare customers for their success in using Centricity solutions to help improve productivity in their organizations. After identifying needed improvements to productivity, SG’s RCS team brought together a cross-functional group and contracted with the Centricity Optimization Solutions team to provide deep domain expertise and drive incremental performance improvement. As a result, SG RCS dramatically reduced claims rejections and denials, increased electronic claims submissions and payment remits, and achieved over $300,000 in savings through reduced rework every month.
“Receiving this award, in no small way, recognizes SG RCS team’s insatiable appetite for excellence, an appetite that is prevalent throughout Schumacher Group’s culture,” said Cantrell.
