Schumacher Clinical Partners (SCP) and ECI Healthcare (ECI) have joined forces and are preparing to take over Vegas for the principal event in Emergency Medicine — the 2016 American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) Scientific Assembly, Oct. 16-19.
Following the news about the SCP and ECI merger earlier this year, ACEP attendees will notice two booths for the joint company, with SCP presence at booth 1626, and ECI Healthcare division at booth 1233. The teams are proudly putting the merger on display with signage throughout the venue, at trade exhibits, and even during the opening night kickoff party, sponsored by the united company at the famous OMNIA nightclub in Caesars Palace.
“What started out as a fun night for a few hundred people has turned into an amazing one for thousands,” said Dr. Derik King, ECI Division President, in regards to the kickoff event. “We don’t expect anything less from this year’s party at the Omnia.”
The kickoff party happens Sun., Oct. 16, from 7 p.m. until midnight and is open to all ACEP16 registrants who are at least 21 years of age. Those with a VIP pass, available at the SCP and ECI booths, will receive private club access and other party perks.
In addition, attendees can hear Dr. Randy Pilgrim’s, SCP Enterprise Chief Medical Officer, presentation sponsored by Urgent Matters on Sat., Oct. 15, from 12:30-4:30 p.m. The presentation highlights new disruptive innovations in acute and emergency care. Dr. Pilgrim will also present the Urgent Matters’ Innovation of the Year Award at the Urgent Matters Conference during ACEP, on behalf of SCP as co-sponsor.
SCP will also have ten tables throughout the Emergency Medicine Resident Association (EMRA) Career Fair, taking location Sun., Oct. 16, from 5-7 p.m.
Additional features at the booths, including “GIF Yourself” interactive animations, can be found in a recent blog post.
