Schumacher Clinical Partners (SCP) has announced four new WellnessWorks clients to include: Davis Regional Medical Center, Statesville, NC; Bay Medical Center Sacred Heart Health System, Panama City, FL; Cypress Pointe Hospital, Hammond, LA; and Minden Medical Center, Minden, LA.
WellnessWorks, an SCP service line since 2012, is an offering that links the ongoing healthcare needs of employers, employees and their family members to providers, and is designed to give a coordinated approach in the delivery of healthcare services to an insured captive audience and the local community.
“Our WellnessWorks division is a trusted hospital resource and partner, with nearly 100 clients nationwide,” stated Byron Speights, President of WellnessWorks. “We’re pleased to announce that in addition to our employer related services, many of our clients are also entrusting us to coordinate the care of their patients upon discharge through our patient navigation service line, as well as assisting those in the community looking for medical providers through our physician referral services.”
Stephen J. Grubbs, President & CEO of Bay Medical Center Sacred Heart Health System stated why his facility chose to partner with SCP. “Having worked with WellnessWorks at a previous hospital, I knew exactly where to turn and who I would choose to partner with regarding an industrial medicine strategy,” stated Grubbs. “I’m excited about what the WellnessWorks team and approach will bring to our hospital and business community.”
